1 Month

My Thank You Notes are Here!!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my thank you notes and I am so excited they are here because I have about 1,000,000 thank yous to write!
I ordered them off Etsy(the greatest site EVER) from Rhetorical Printing. Leslie was absolutely amazing and the turn around time was pretty quick!! To top it off they are exactly what I was looking for and the price wasn't too bad either- which makes it even better.
Here are two pics of them below, the picture quality is pretty bad because I took them with my blackberry. I will post better pics when K returns with the camera.
Off to watch The Office and start writing thank yous!
Oh yeah and did I mention that my new personal initials are the same as our initials... just wanted to point that out!

An Ocean between Us
So K is on his first international business trip in Europe. It's an awesome opportunity for him and he's pretty excited to be there. As I write this it's about 4:46am where he is and he's going to be getting up in about 2 hours which is crazy to think about him heading to the office while it will be the middle of the night for me!!
I decided to rearrange our family room tonight and I LOVE it. It's amazing how moving furniture can make a room look totally different. K has our camera but I'll post some pics when he's back of all my little decor makeovers going on in Casa H.
In other random news my photographer said she should have my pictures ready this week- I'm so anxious to see how they turned out!
I also need a little blog revamping, I just don't know what I want to do to spice it up.
Off to bed so I can drag myself out of bed early to do The Shred... no more excuses!

This is a random one
- I forgot to take my hair dryer and round brush with me on our honeymoon so I was forced to use the in hotel hair dryer and K's brush luckily it didn't matter since it's soo windy in Aruba any hair do would have never lasted
- I have a lot of "single girl habits" that come out when K is traveling for work these include eating whole pints of ben & jerry's, watching hours and hours of Friends re-runs, and spending way to much time on internetstalking networking sites as I like to call them
- I actually lost weight in the 3 weeks between my last dress fitting and wedding (STRESS!) and the top of my dress was a bit big in the bust area, luckily Starr (my mom's best friend) some how managed an amazing safety pin maneuver with my bra and dress top to keep it up- of course I could barely get out of it at the end of the night but hey IT STAYED UP ALL NIGHT
-I decided in August to start watching Gossip Girl- I am totally and completely obsessed. I didn't realize what I was missing out on. I want to be Blair Waldorf and I want to date Dan, Chuck, and Nate.
- I am so excited to for The Hills with Kristin. She is such a b*tch and so devious I can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve. I'm not going to lie I was a fan of her on Laguna Beach mostly because I didn't know 16 year old's could be that evil.
- I wish Taylor Swift had been around when I was 16. She is such an amazing role model. Instead I had Britney, I mean I LOVE Britney I have nothing against her at all and I turned out fine but I feel like the naughty school girl look and the lyrics "Baby hit me one more time" don't really make for a good role model.
- We have lived in our house for a year and our decorating is lacking at best. Once I got engaged I kind of leteverything decorating go. So I'm on a budget friendly decor makeover in Casa H so I"m working on little projects here and there which I'll share with you when I've completed them.
Alright that's all I have for tonight off to watch some GG
xoxo, BFFs

Honeymoon: Part II
Pictures Part II- This is at the Radisson resort
We rented rafts everyday to lay in the water and relax- the sun is SO HOT you pretty much have to be in the water if the breeze isn't strong
Gilligans Beach Bar-where we had lunch and happy hour every day
Our lunch friends
If you didn't pay attention they would jump right on your table and steal your food!
K's grandmother had matching name hats made for us- K wouldn't wear his but I totally rocked mine everyday
Dinner at an amazing Italian restaurant-best pizza since Italy
We wandered over to photographer the birds and next thing you know...
We're holding the birds !

Honeymoon: Part I
**Another long one but split into two posts and full of pictures**
We had an absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G time in Aruba. The island is gorgeous and very friendly, we felt safe the whole time. We honestly just laid by the pool or on the beach and relaxed. We made absolutely no plans or reservations, we live our "real life" pretty planned out so we wanted to just be able to come and go as we pleased. We did not do any trips or tours or anything mostly because we've been to the Caribbean before and done the typical snorkeling, booze cruise, tour of the island etc, plus I wanted to maximize the relaxation, again because I'm married to a man who rarely relaxes.
We spent the first half of our honeymoon at the RIU Palace all inclusive resort and the second half at the Radisson Aruba Resort, in another post I will give you the good/bad of each resort. We really didn't like one place more than the other because they weren't comparable at all-it was fun though because it felt like 2 different vacations.
Ok now onto the fun part! Aruba was so beautiful I couldn't help but take like 1,000,000 pictures!

Wedding Recap
**Warning: Long post but with lots of pictures**
So I'm finally here with a full wedding recap! It has been a busy week around here starting with K taking our camera to Detroit for work all week, I almost died making him promise cross his heart he would bring it back with ALL pictures intact!!! Luckily he did, phew, so we didn't have to get divorced over lost photos after all :)
I was VERY stressed out the week leading up to our wedding and I was panicking over every little detail and just plain scared that the cake wouldn't show up or the florist would forget my bouquet but then the day of I was completely calm. Our rehearsal dinner was great and sooo much fun that I went from completely stressed to totally calm and excited!
The rehearsal dinner was at this great waterfront crab house in Annapolis. We sat inside and enjoyed crabs and delicious seafood because it was a little damp and rainy on Friday night.
Me and two of my bridesmaids
Matching Jcrew dresses
Sorry for the super long post!! I will be back tomorrow with more details about the wedding reception :)
I hope everyone had a great first official NFL weekend! Go Eagles!

As I said I was completely calm and excited on my wedding day. I had PSD all day, which is permanent smile disease, it's something me and my sister coined when things used to make us so happy that we couldn't stop smiling. I didn't cry or even get choked up, I think there were two reason for that: 1. I was so incredibly happy I couldn't even think about crying, 2. going to Catholic school for 12 years made me totally terrified of messing up on the altar in front of the priest so I was very worried about following directions properly.
